Raising the Bar a Little Higher

We have worked extremely hard over the past seven years to build a quality basketball program, both on and off the court. It would be real easy for us to sit back and just expect to be good again this year. However, we can't and won't let that happen or be satisfied with where we are. We will not allow complacency to creep in because we are "raising the bar a little higher" this season because of our schedule, our expectations, and our opponents' expectations of us. We will expect our opponents to play their best against us and be prepared for it mentally and physically.

Our basketball program, as always, is based on simple factors: hard work, sacrifice, dedication, organization, unselfishness, and a family atmosphere of mutual caring for each other. We have an opportunity to be an excellent basketball team because we have talented players who are good people as well. Doing the little things and paying attention to detail will take us "over the bar".

Players, concentrate your time wisely on the things that will help us win. Remove the negative distractions from your life. We need every player and coach to give maximum effort to get "over the bar".

We must have the heart of a champion. It's not something you can measure, you can only feel it.

GET IT DONE! FIND A WAY!
